  2. SYMPTOMS. Signs include the feeling that something is stuck in the gullet
  3. and if the esophagus is ruptured or perforated there may be breathlessness
  4. and chest pains.
  5. CAUSES may be from swallowing bones while eating fish, meat or poultry. It
  6. may be caused by swallowing other objects, sometimes even dentures.
  7. TREATMENT. Seek medical help immediately.
